Doing Right for Our Heroes: Happy Veterans Day

On Veterans Day, we wanted to take a moment to recognize the service and sacrifice of all those who put on our country’s uniform. As a labor movement, we are committed to creating an economy that honors the bravery of our heroes by providing them good jobs when they return home.

If we truly are going to look out for our veterans, we need to make sure they have access to good-paying jobs that provide security and dignity.

Also:

  • Veterans deserve jobs that pay at least $15 an hour.
  • No veteran should work 40 hours a week and still not make ends meet.
  • Veterans deserve trade policies that keep good jobs here at home.

Let’s honor our veterans by building an economy that honors their sacrifices.
