BCTGM members help make Hershey Foods Corporation one of the most successful companies in the world.

Hershey is North America's leading manufacturer of chocolate and non-chocolate confectionery products. However, BCTGM members and Hershey provide the world with much more than chocolate and candy treats.

Members employed by Hershey belong to BCTGM Local 464 (Hershey, Pa.).

In Hershey, Pa., the company's world headquarters, workers are represented by Local 464. In addition to the production of many different chocolate and grocery-related products, Local 464 members work at the "Chocolate Town's" world-famous Hershey Park, the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center, the Hershey Park Arena, the Hotel Hershey, Hershey Laundry and Hershey Nursery (plant/landscaping center).

Additionally, Local 464 members are employed at the Milton Hershey School, a school for promising students from impoverished families. The school was established in 1909 by Milton Hershey, the founder of Hershey Foods. The following is a brief overview of Hershey items BCTGM members make:

Local 464: Hershey-Chocolate Co., Hershey, Pa. Union members, employed at two separate plants in Hershey, produce popular items like Hershey's Chocolate Syrup, Hershey's Kisses, Hershey's Chocolate Chips and the Hershey's Milk Chocolate Bar. Hershey Chocolate U.S.A., Palmyra, Pa. Additionally, BCTGM members wrap and package all types of Hershey products at this location. Other BCTGM products include candy bars like Fifth Avenue, Zagnut, and York Peppermint Patties.
