In a 26-foot rented box truck, BCTGM Local 6 Financial Secretary-Treasurer Edgar Rodriguez, Local 6 member Wilfredo Rodriguez and President Hank McKay began the local's three-day food collection journey this morning in Lancaster, Pa. that will include thousands of pounds of BCTGM made goods distributed to union families across hundreds of miles. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, homeless shelters have experienced a greater need for donations to help sustain those who receive assistance.
